For the most secluded, relaxing getaway, this is your place! We enjoyed cooking in the full kitchen and warming near the indoor wood burning fireplace. The wooded backyard was perfect to roast s’mores. We will definitely be back and bringing more family with us to experience the beauty.

The Meadow House cabin was every bit as beautiful as described in word and picture. We spent a cozy winter week of hiking, reading, playing games, and thoroughly enjoying time by the fireplace. Our hosts were so welcoming and friendly. Anaway Place is a treasure of a getaway!

The Barn was absolutely perfect for our family getaway. It exceeded our expectations! The place was warm, cozy, and fully equipped to make you feel right at home. Bring your hiking boots and get ready to explore 110 acres of natural beauty. Quiet and private, you’ll forget there are 6 others cabins in the property. Make sure to visit the Anaway store and say hello to the owners! I honestly couldn’t take any bad pictures during our stay. The whole place was just picture perfect! Already planning a “Fall season” stay.

My family stayed with Anaway on a last minute get together for the holidays. We stayed in The Barn. I cannot say enough positive things about Anaway and the property hosts. They went above and beyond in all aspects to make sure our stay was wonderful. The Barn itself was truly lovely and magical for the holiday season. We hosted our annual fondue and there was plenty of space for a bunch of small kiddos and adults. I loved particularly how there were a lot of separate spaces where people could go and gete quiet time, too. Each bedroom was lovely with an attached bath - I totally didn't except that! The beds and linens were fantastic. I slept so well. I also made great use of the soaking tub! The shop was also amazing for essentials, having toys to entertain the kids, and little spa things to enhance relaxation. The owners said they plan on expanding next year to include yoga and massage work on property which seems like a great fit and I would love to take advantage of. My only wish which is like really tiny is that kitchen basics were a little more well stocked. We couldn't locate salt and pepper, etc. Also, and this is really tiny, the hand soap was a bit watered down. It would have been great if they included a few more luxury items like maybe a small soap from the store for the bath or hand lotion. I really think little extra luxuries would have really made this experience super unforgettable. All that being said, we really hope to return next year! I can tell the owners work so hard and I hope they achieve a lot of success in the coming year!

This place is awesome. We are already looking forward to going back and trying one of the other cabins. If you book the Woodland House, you may want to have a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get up there.

A nice place to get away alone, as a couple or for an event. Many houses to choose from and huge potential for the property as houses keep adding. We stayed at the Barn. The sound proofing non existing as you can hear every single room flushing toilets, using faucets/showers like they are next to you. Tons of cracking sounds as HVAC system starts running. The upstairs doors can be heard so loudly when someone simply walking if there were elephants. Not a quiet experience. Overall the level is suited for Wisconsin, I believe the owners are trying to create something special but still can improve to provide better quality of stay and relaxation. No lotions in rooms nor tissue paper can be found. We had exhaust fan not working to bathroom because very stale and musty quickly. The dimmer in the room did not work as well as no smaller lamps are provided for comfortable ambient setting at night. Harsh overhead light felt commercial. Glad we had our portable lamp with us. For the cost of stay this is expected to be part of the room experience. There is a cute small shop downstairs at the barn where the check-in happens, offering food items and giftware. A very nice selection of both. Fire Wood is sold sweaty for $10 a metal wire basket. You are not allowed to bring your own due to local regulations. The property has a nice hiking trail which I can imagine is very pretty during warmer season. The sauna is electric and does not heat up very well only for a couple of people as well as the hot tub that fits two people at best.

Absolutely serene experience. If you're looking to detach from the hustle of life, this is the destination. We stayed in June and at night we heard barred owls calling and the most unbelievable (and I mean that) light show from a forest full of fireflies. It was like a fairy tale. We stayed in the Hillside unit and it was 100% clean and fresh, totally isolated, stocked with anything you need and it really felt like we were in a tree house with the windows and view. We had nightly fires in the fire pit, cooked on the "camp style" grill out back and just relaxed. The host/owners were friendly but just let us be. There is onsite firewood for ten bucks a rack (enough for a good evening blaze) and the mini store onsite has everything you need. Super bonus was seeing a Piebald deer at dusk (Piebald deer are white-tailed deer with a rare genetic condition that causes patches of white hair to appear amidst their normal brown coat). No TV, barely any cell service but remarkable strong wifi. We are going back next Summer, already booked the Woodland House!
